My SeneGence Journey
Hi, I’m Sherry! I love being around people and don’t feel comfortable having anything be “about me”, so thanks for being here and reading this! Let me tell you a little about myself and my journey to SeneGence.
I was fortunate to grow up in a Christ-centered home where we were taught to tell the truth, treat others the way we would want to be treated, and say our prayers. Even though my dad became a preacher when I was young, I’ve always been independent and somewhat rebellious. I would say that rebellion has made me into the person I am – someone who examines, critiques, and decides what is right for myself. It also led me to the next phase in my life: joining the military.
I enlisted in active duty for two years, where my rebellion was traded for a lot of pushups! During my time in the Army, I met my husband of over 30 years and counting. We have one daughter and have been blessed beyond measure. Once my daughter started school, I went back to school to get my degree in Education. Over the years, I taught 1st, 2nd, and 6th grade.
After my daughter decided to go to college in Los Angeles, I decided to change professions and became a flight attendant for the best airline out there: Southwest Airlines. I worked for them for 11 years and loved every minute of it. However, I eventually felt I was being led to be home. Luckily, in my last year at Southwest I was presented with the opportunity to join SeneGence. I didn’t think of it at a job at first, but more of a hobby.
It didn’t take long for me to realize the amazing business opportunities with this company and see the freedom it could offer. The more I work, the more I realize how amazing this company is. They have great leadership, they care about their employees and distributors, and they offer an amazing product. I do believe God has given me this opportunity and I want to make the most of this gift!
